We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to the role of Art and Photography Technician to provide effective and efficient technical assistance to teaching staff and students within the Art and Photography department. The successful candidate will support lessons and extra-curricular activities, maintain and manage levels and storage of equipment and resources, and provide technical support to staff and students. The ideal candidate will have art based training and / or qualifications, knowledge of the field of art and design along with a good understanding of presenting and displaying artwork, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable.

Quarrydale is a mixed 11-18 academy of around 1100 pupils, with approximately 130 sixth formers.
We are situated in the town of Sutton-in-Ashfield, which is located between Sherwood Forest, the peak district and the City of Nottingham.
