Art, Design and Technology Technician

Salary: Band 4 (Actual Salary £7,698 to £7,7981)

Working Hours: 15 hours per week, term time only plus 3 days. Working days for the this academic year will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, we are open to discussions about alternative days of working.


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Art, Design and Technology Technician to join our Art, Design and Technology team to assist students’ learning by preparing resources and supporting in practical lessons, provide guidance to teaching staff and promoting the health and safety within the department. Excellent communication skills and a “can do” attitude is essential for this role. 

The role will involve supporting teachers by ordering and preparing resources for Art, Textiles, Design and Technology lessons, in addition to supporting learning in the classroom and workshops. You will also take a lead role in supporting the Head of Art, Design and Technology in ensuring health and safety requirements are followed, including maintaining and arranging servicing for equipment.
