The successful candidate will have the exciting and unique opportunity to shape a KS3, KS4 and KS5 curriculum which is bespoke, challenging and fit for the needs of 21st century life. There is the potential for leadership roles both pastorally and academically for the right candidate.

The culture of the School is a very cohesive team. The non-teaching staff have a lot of interaction with students and are very much integrated with the teaching staff at the School. The successful candidate will be part of the Arts faculty led by the Head of Arts, who will share and learn from one other as the School grows. As a small School we aim to play to the strengths of individuals and there is some flexibility in how the role will develop over time as the School develops and moves site.
Hoe Valley School is a small, four-form entry secondary school that opened in September 2015 to serve the local community of South Woking. The School follows the national curriculum and offers an extended day and allowing time for additional Maths, English, Enrichment and project based learning.

The excellent behaviour of our students and our resistance to any unnecessary paperwork means staff can really focus on teaching and learning.
