Job overview

The governors seek to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and committed professional to join our art and geography departments (Art 0.7 and Geography 0.3).  The successful candidate will be expected to teach the whole ability range at KS3 and KS4 in art and Year 7 in Geography.  The ideal candidate will be a reflective and innovative classroom teacher with a genuine interest in pedagogy.  Woodham Academy is highly ambitious for its students and we are committed to achievement for all.  The school is conveniently located just off the A1(M) between Durham and Darlington.  The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.  Any offer of employment will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
