About the role
Art is a popular and thriving subject at Grey Court School which delivers excellent results far above the national average. This vacancy provides an exciting opportunity to work within a well-resourced department with disciplines including photography, ceramics, textiles, painting, print-making and drawing. For this reason we are seeking to appoint a highly qualified and innovative part-time Art teacher to join us in our expanding Art Department and Visual and Performing Arts Faculty, teaching throughout KS3-5.
We are looking for someone to inspire our young people and be committed to giving every young person in our care the very best quality of education possible.
You will have a passion for Art, sound subject knowledge and a desire to teach a broad range of media and disciplines. You will need to be a good team member who is able to deliver an outstanding experience in Art lessons and be part of our highly active Visual and Performing Arts Faculty.
You will be expected to show initiative and take control in advancing Schemes of Work and resources to ensure the Art curriculum remains current, relevant and challenging for our artists.
