Bishop Perowne College is seeking to appoint a Curriculum Development Lead for our Art Department. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to work alongside our Subject Leader to create an exciting curriculum that meets the needs of our students.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of engaging educational materials and learning experiences that facilitate effective learning outcomes. We would encourage you to collaborate closely with subject matter experts to create high-quality curriculum content.

We would be interested in candidates from a variety of specialisms such as Fine Art, Graphic Design, Photography or Art and Design as a key part of this role will be considering our KS4 qualification offer in this area.

This is an ideal role for a candidate looking to take their first steps towards subject leadership, with a passion for ensuring students have access to the best quality curriculums and outcomes.

Art is a valued part of our school curriculum, well resourced, in specialist art studios. KS4 uptake is one of the strongest in the school, something we hope to build on even further through this new appointment.

We offer leadership coaching and senior mentoring, plus we facilitate completion of relevant NPQ certificates, for all middle leaders. To us, strong middle leadership is the engine of the school.

Design and Technology is a valued part of the curriculum at Bishop Perowne and this appointment will allow us to tailor our offer even more closely to the needs of our students.
