Art Teacher

Responsibility

• Be able to understand and teach art curricular for both primary and secondary school sections (Drawing, painting, Graphic design and digital art, theatrical art and etc.)
• To attend both content area and cross curricular meeting and collaborate with other teachers to develop school based curricula based on your departmental needs.
• Create highly effective and engaging lesson plans to increase student achievement in Art. 
• Be able to use different instructional strategies and various resources such as textbooks and external materials including digital and online media to meet students' varying needs.
• Have excellent class management skills to deal with behavior problems and to create a safe, respectful and positive learning environment.
• To participate in inside or outside school activities and events, ex. Art clubs, students art shows/exhibitions and decoration of the school building with student work.

Requirements

· Bachelor degree and two year full time teaching experience or Bachelor degree and TESOL/TEFL certificate;

· Excellent communication skills with a native level English reading, writing and speaking ability and a strong command of English grammar;

· A proven team player who can work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences;

· Ability to spark intellectual curiosity in students and help students realize their full potential;

· Patient with a positive attitude, responsible, creative, and empathetic.

Benefits

1) You will be entitled to a reimbursement of apartment rent up to 4,000-6,000 RMB per month;

2) The reimbursement of your first arrival ticket to China will be paid in half after the probation period. The reimbursement of the return ticket will be paid at the end of the contract, up to a maximum of RMB 10,000;

Vacations：

1) Three or four weeks of Winter vacation;
