At Kingsway Park High School our aim is to raise attainment and improve life opportunities for all of the young people that we serve. The Art Department is a small but successful department that also is part of a large faculty called Creative & Performing Arts (Music, Art and Drama). There are 3 dedicated Art classrooms that are fully kitted out with the appropriate resources to teach and deliver Art & Art Textiles.
We are also beginning in September 2018 to offer Photography (Photoshop) at KS4.
This new post is suitable for a newly qualified teacher or an experienced teacher who wants a new challenge in a new school and has a real artistic talent to share with staff and students.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience, knowledge and skills in a range of Art specialisms such as Fine Art, Art Textiles and Photography (photoshop).
The person appointed will be fully supported by the Head of Department, the faculty and the Senior Leadership Team at Kingsway Park High School and will have a wide range of professional development training, experiences and opportunities.
