This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Art Teacher (Secondary) at Reigate Grammar School Phnom Penh. This position plays a key role in the continued growth and success of our school as we establish ourselves on our purpose-built campus in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A leadership role within the department may be available for candidates with suitable experience.  We are a fully co-educational, all-through school, welcoming both Cambodian and international students from Early Years through to Sixth Form. Position Summary

Reigate Grammar School Phnom Penh (RGSPP) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teachers to join our dynamic and growing team. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring that all students develop a love for learning and achieve their full potential. The ability to teach at least Fine Art to A level and the flexibility to teach additional endorsements such as Photography or Textiles is highly desirable. As a K-12 school, strong links between the Primary and Secondary schools are essential, including teaching and leading on history projects with KS2 classes.

Ideal candidates will be passionate educators with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to holistic student development. They will be able to differentiate lessons effectively, engage students in inquiry-based learning, and foster positive, inclusive, and challenging learning environments.

Qualifications & Experience

·      A degree in Art or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., QTS).

·      Experience teaching in a British curriculum school is desirable.

·      Familiarity with the British curriculum (IGCSE, A-Level) and experience in curriculum planning and assessment.

·      A strong understanding of differentiated learning strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.

·      Experience in assessing student progress, providing effective feedback, and preparing students for assessments.

·      Ability to incorporate technology and innovative teaching strategies into the classroom.

·      Experience in pastoral care and student well-being.
