Art Technician

Newstead Wood School is a high-achieving grammar school for girls with a mixed Sixth Form.  Our lessons move at a fast pace and students are routinely challenged in their thinking.  Students come to their Art lessons with high expectations and a desire for active and complex learning.  

We are seeking to appoint an Art Technician to join our team from September 2023. The technician’s role is essential to support our creative and dynamic lessons and to maintain our high standards of safety within the Art department.  The successful applicant will provide essential support to the Art staff and the contribute to the achievement of students, demonstrating innovative approaches whilst assisting with and resourcing lessons.

Newstead Wood School is a highly selective girls’ state secondary school, with a co-educational Sixth Form. The school is heavily over-subscribed. Students here achieve the highest academic standards whilst also benefitting from exceptional pastoral care.
