Salary: £19,894 - £21,615 pro rata (actual salary £15,915 - £17,292 per annum)  

Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16-19 year old students. We are presently seeking a dedicated technician to support our outstanding Art and Design programme area. The college has achieved the Gold Arts Mark and our Art and Design department provides high quality resources and an excellent learning environment for our students.  You will assist members of staff in the preparation of materials and equipment, guide students with the completion of practical work and provide training for the safe use of machinery.    You will need to have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.  Knowledge and experience of health and safety within art and design are equally important to the role.
