Job overview
The Headteacher is looking to appoint an exceptional Art Technician who will provide support to the Art Department. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, hardworking and creative who will support both the Teachers, through the preparation of resources and materials required in lessons and the students in practical activities by offering guidance, advice and direction.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experiences in an art related role and a good level of understanding of art and different areas within the subject. Applications from Arts graduates are welcome.

Valentines High School is a non-denominational, co-educational secondary school with sixth form in Ilford, Essex. Its motto translates from Latin as "in harmony, achieving excellence". There are approximately 1,291 students on the school roll. The school is proud of its diversity, with 78% of pupils speaking English as an additional language.
Valentines High School has been a Teaching School since 2011. This status allows the school to offer professional development to other schools in the area, as well as providing high-quality training for its own staff. Founded in 1901, the school opened a new sixth-form centre in 2007.
