Term Time only (44.2 weeks) Monday-Thursday 08:00-15:45 & Friday 08:15-13:45 - including designated INSET (this includes a 30 minute unpaid daily break - which must be taken during the school day) 

Scale 3, point 6 - £17,550pa (actual)

FTE: £22,587pa

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Art Faculty within our School.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who ideally has previous experience of working within an Art Faculty in a Secondary School, as an Art Technician.

The successful candidate will join an established team working under the supervision of the Faculty Lead or Class Teacher to aid in the preparation of resources for practical lessons.

The technician will maintain the use of practical resources and facilities to meet curriculum requirements and provide advice and support in lessons to both students and staff.

The technician will be required to back display boards in the school as required.    Three hours are allocated  weekly within the contracted time for this, however due to the nature of the role this may vary from week to week, and  the successful candidate may be required to complete additional hours at times for the display backing, particularly leading up to the Year 6 Open Evening in September).

The successful candidate would be expected to be a First Aider (training provided).
