Assessor/Advisor:  Plumbing and Heating (Newtown College)

To deliver occupational knowledge and carry out work place assessment to meet the requirements of the Plumbing and Heating apprenticeship programmes.

Rate of pay: Scale 6, Points 29 - 31, £26,696 - £28,508 per annum.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends)

Contract: Full time, permanent.          

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Newtown College).  

Qualifications: The ideal candidates should have a Level 3 Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing (NVQ or equivalent) and have relevant plumbing and heating sector experience.  Candidates must hold Assessor Awards and Verifier Awards and hold level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).  You must also be IT literate equivalent to level 2.
