The Vocational Learning Area is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Assessor to join the Work Based Learning Team.  The Qualification to be assessed is the Level 5 Diploma for Assistant Practitioners in Healthcare.

Essential requirements:

- D32/33 or A1/TAQA L3 Qualification (Assessor Qualification)

- Nursing Qualification

- Occupational expertise, competence and knowledge relevant to the Level 5 Diploma for Assistant Practitioners in Health Care

- Experience in training and assessment

- Evidence of up to date, relevant continuing learning and professional development

This position is freelance and available immediately. Hourly rate is £15.07. 

A set number of hours are allocated per learner and this will be discussed at interview.

The Vocational Learning Area Assessors work with students on a one to one basis.  The Assessor will be responsible for supporting the Level 5 students through their qualification and ensuring Total Qualification Time/Guided Learning hours are met.
