From 1 August 2017, Central Sussex College changed its name to Crawley College. It merged with Chichester College as part of a group structure.  

Variable hours  

Chichester College has a vacancy for an Assessor to assess Apprentices and work based learners in one or both areas of Early Years and/or Residential Childcare, in their place of work within the Childhood Studies subject area.  

Relevant recent professional vocational experience in an Early Years and/or a Residential Childcare setting is essential, as is experience of assessing workbased/apprenticeship programmes. You will be qualified to a minimum of level 3 in a related qualification. An Assessor’s Award is also essential.  As assessing is undertaken in the workplace, there is a requirement to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the learners and to travel independently between assessment sites.
