Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a full time Assessor to work with Apprentices working towards their Technical Apprenticeship, mainly off-site in their places of work, and also on site at Uxbridge Campus.  The role will involve monitoring and reviewing Apprentices’ progress, complying with all administrative requirements and tracking achievements.  


You will need to possess a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering and an assessor qualification (e.g. A1 or equivalent) or will be willing to obtain the Assessor qualification, supported by the College.  You should also have experience of working and/or assessing in Mechanical Engineering, including experience with mechanical maintenance and machining including lathe, milling and CNC.  This post will involve travelling to workplaces in the London area and therefore a driving licence and your own personal transport is required.
