Halesowen College Apprenticeship team are looking for a qualified or trainee Assessor in the field of Business Admin and/or Customer Services.  This is the perfect time  to join our team as we are growing rapidly therefore opportunity for progression is high, not only that, you would enjoys the benefits of College wide support, resources and security combined with a Commercial awareness and structure that is key to its impressive success to date, and ongoing growth.


Assessors are key to the success of our apprentices’ learning journey, you must be enthusiastic and passionate about mentoring, learning and developing individuals’ skills. Being able to share your own skills and develop others alongside maintaining a positive relationship with the apprentice and employer which is of upmost importance. You will be responsible for maintaining a caseload of learners as well as supporting learner achievement, success and progression. You will mentor, assess and record all aspects of teaching and learning using e-portfolios and learner journeys, creating a bespoke programme for each apprentice and their employer.

Halesowen College, in the West Midlands, is a mixed further education institution. It accepts students from the age of 16 and has around 4,200 learners in attendance. The college offers courses of study in 11 subject areas and partners with three local higher education institutions.

Founded in 1966, Halesowen College regularly places in the top 10% of colleges for the examination performance of its students. The college offers a high level of support for students transitioning from school to higher education via its university centre, and via its long-standing partnerships with the University of Worcester and Newman University.
