As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we have an opportunity for an Assessor/Trainer in Fabrication and Welding to join our Engineering department reporting into the Head of Section for Engineering. This role is full-time and permanent. 

You will be responsible for the training and assessment of a caseload of learners and ensure that course related documentation is maintained to a high standard. You will observe learners and complete observations of level 2 learners and record work relevant to this qualification. 

To be successful, you will hold an NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in and Engineering discipline (Fabrication &Welding), hold the relevant assessor qualification and also be able to demonstrate your experience of working within the industry.  You will have the ability to translate your practice to our learners and have the motivation to inspire them to exceed their goals.
