Job overview

An opportunity has arisen to join our established site/maintenance team at  Rhosnesni High School.  We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced Assistant Caretaker to deliver caretaking services to the school during the afternoon and early evening, under the direction of the Site Supervisor. This role is for 30hours per week, 5 days including evenings.  Term time plus 6 weeks holiday cover.

The ideal candidate will have; 

• Good general DIY skills 

• A flexible approach to work

• A calm, reliable and mature personality 

• A working knowledge of site security, health & safety and cleaning procedures 

• The ability to multitask 

• Good literacy and numeracy skills 

• Organisation skills 

• Willingness to work outdoors across the seasons
