Assistant Curriculum Leader for English
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Second in Department for English.
The successful candidate should be passionate about empowering students to become ambitious and reflective learners through creative delivery.
At Chamberlayne College for the Arts we encourage students to ‘Expect More. Achieve More.’ This is an exciting opportunity to join and support in leading a team which aims to inspire, motivate and challenge all students.
Our curriculum is rooted in the exploration and understanding of ‘Voices of a Generation’ which seeks to build on cultural capital and empower students to become skilled readers, writers and public speakers. The Second in Department, working with the Head of English, will drive the KS3 curriculum and enrichment opportunities. There will be opportunities to develop your own teaching and learning, as well as supporting others. We are therefore looking to appoint a superb practitioner able to improve the standards of learning and achievement for all students.
If you are enthusiastic and highly motivated, relish a challenge and believe that you could contribute to our English team, we would like to hear from you. If you would like an informal conversation with our Head of English, please email Rebecca.connery@chamberlayne.org
