Job overview

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Curriculum Team Leader - Key Stage 5 Science who is an enthusiastic and talented classroom practitioner with the ability to teach Chemistry across the age and ability range, including Post 16.

The successful candidate will have an affinity with young people and be outward thinking in their approach to teaching and learning with the enthusiasm to further develop this popular subject. The inspirational learning and teaching shown by the successful candidate should encourage students to study at Post 16 and beyond.

Our most recent Ofsted report described us as a “good college” where “Students are effectively challenged and engaged in developing their knowledge, skills and understanding.” The College works relentlessly to ensure ‘no child is left behind’ and this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the college’s drive for outstanding.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of our Personnel Recruitment specification and be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
