Job overview

Permanent; Full-Time

35 hours per week

Closing Date: 28 May 2021

The ADIP will be expected to be familiar with the contractual obligations of Haileybury UK (HUK) to our overseas schools and with updates to school policies and inspection and accreditation requirements. Specifically, the ADIP will assist the DIP to ensure the overseas schools meet all the obligations established in each Contract through liaising with the non-teaching departments (including HR, Marketing and Finance)

The successful candidate will have experience in International Education marketing and admissions, with an appreciation for unique audience attributes within global markets, while also specialising in integrated campaigns and digital marketing. Experience in providing marketing support and training to ensure partner schools are aware of brand guidelines and are applying them appropriately in all areas.  Excellent administrative and communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office along with a working knowledge of Google Suite would be an advantage.

Given the nature of the department’s work, it is envisaged that the ADIP will work remotely but would also visit HUK as and when required. The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and may be added to. The ADIP will deputise for the DIP in his absence. The ADIP will be paid a salary commensurate with the importance of this post. The tenure of the role is initially for two years. It is renewable for a further period by mutual agreement.

The post holder will be required to work 35 hours per week, throughout the year (52 weeks). The nature of a 24hr a day, 7 days per week boarding school requires staff to work flexibly and there may be a requirement for the jobholder to work reasonable additional hours and early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Haileybury offers a world of opportunity for talented girls and boys who wish to contribute fully to our happy and purposeful community. “We provide a holistic education that balances academic achievement with the development of character, resilience and leadership”

We are academically selective and we expect our pupils to achieve excellent results in public examinations. Most of our pupils take up places at the best universities in the UK and around the world. In addition to providing intellectual rigour and challenge, we provide a holistic education that balances academic achievement with the development of character, resilience and leadership. All of our boys and girls are strongly encouraged to take full advantage of the widest range of co-curricular activities on offer at Haileybury. Participation in these activities stretches the pupils; it promotes a sense of social responsibility, enhances team spirit and engenders confidence.

The bedrock of a Haileybury education is outstanding pastoral care. A nurturing environment and spiritual encouragement underpin all of our endeavours and help shape the distinctive characteristics of Haileyburians.

Our goal is for our young men and women to leave Haileybury fully equipped with the life skills and the academic credentials necessary for them to flourish in a competitive global employment market.

We also hope that they leave the school fulfilled, proud of their achievements and full of compassion for others. If our ethos resonates with you, please do come and visit Haileybury. It would be our pleasure to show you around.
