Due to continuous success and expansion opportunity has arisen for two roles of Assistant Directors of Learning and Achievement within the Central Support Team with the Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust (MAT).  These are pivotal roles for the MAT to support its consolidation, growth and transformation into an outstanding provider of education, rooted in its Christian principals and an ethos of genuine collaborative working. Currently home to 18 primary schools, the MAT is increasingly sought after as a unique and distinctive option for schools within the Bath & Wells Diocese.

The candidates will be inspiring and innovative leaders in school improvement with a wide range of skills to steer the organisation forward. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an Academy Trust committed to high expectations, high standards and excellent provision for all learners. You will ensure that schools are provided with the highest quality monitoring, challenge, support and intervention in order to achieve this.
The successful candidates will be integral to the school improvement agenda, leading and accountable for school improvement under the supervision of the Director of Learning and Achievement. You will oversee school development, ensuring overall effectiveness and a culture of aspirations for all.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to lead and implement strategies for school improvement and have excellent, research, data analysis and reporting skills.  You will also be committed to the development of self-managing schools, and demonstrate the ability to support, monitor and challenge vulnerable schools, have an excellent understanding of how school to school support can be developed and have a positive attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills, energy and commitment to our vision and values are essential.
