About the Role
City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint a determined, innovative and exceptional Assistant Director of Professional Development from January 2024. As Assistant Director of Professional Development, you will have responsibility for leading, developing and delivering a strategic plan of professional development for all employees within the Trust. Your will support the Chief Standards Officer, the Standards Team and other Central Team professionals in building the Trust’s reputation through a high-quality professional and careers development offer for all employees. All COLAT academies are based in the heart of evolving communities, and we value the diversity of our workforce. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds to join our team. The role is based within the central Trust team, with the expectation to travel to Trust schools across London as required.

Of our six secondary academies, two are graded Outstanding, three are graded Good (one with Outstanding features) and one requires improvement.
