Rastrick High School Academy Trust is entering an exciting stage of growth and development. To support our ambitions, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Assistant Finance Manager. Reporting into the Finance Director, the successful candidate will assist with the overall management of the finance function at Rastrick High School with the opportunity to grow with the Trust. You will be required to use your accountancy skills to ensure the Trust’s finances are managed efficiently in a fast paced environment.
With demonstrable experience of working in a Finance Management role you will be able to work autonomously and as part of team, using your own initiative to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload to meet the needs of the Trust. Knowledge and experience of the education sector would be advantageous but not essential. You will preferably hold a full AAT qualification or be a part qualified accountant currently studying ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
To be successful in this role you will have excellent administrative and IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. You will possess high analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate information and above all have a desire to ensure pupils in our care benefit from your ability to ensure efficiencies and value for money, giving them access to the best possible educational experience.
