Assistant Groundsperson
(Full-time throughout the year)
We require an Assistant Groundsperson to join our busy Grounds Team to prepare and maintain sports and recreation facilities to a high standard within the school grounds, which are set in a beautiful location within 250 acres of Surrey countryside.
The successful candidate would be expected to bring a positive, enthusiastic attitude to the role and enjoy working as part of a team in order to prepare and maintain sports surfaces for a number of varied sports throughout the year.
It would be an advantage to hold a relevant NVQ or equivalent qualification in turf management and have a proven working knowledge of the maintenance of natural and synthetic sports surfaces. It would also be desirable to have the ability to operate a variety of grounds maintenance equipment and possess PA1 & PA6 spraying qualifications.
Whilst the above would be an advantage, applicants displaying a genuine enthusiasm and passion for the role and willingness to learn new skills and commit to training would be considered.
A full driving licence is required.
