Established in 1999 as the Junior School to Trent College (11-18 co-educational HMC School), The Elms is a thriving independent school located in Long Eaton and has grown to its present size of around 400, including children in the Pre-School and Nursery.
We are looking to appoint a highly ambitious, supportive and experienced teacher to lead and further develop the junior department (Year 3 to 6) at The Elms.
You will be experienced working with juniors and have the ability to foster excellent relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Leading by example, you will be a dedicated outstanding teacher (Year Group/Subject Negotiable), with the ambition to work at this high achieving school.
The successful candidate will become a member of The Elms Leadership Team, consisting of Assistant Head (EYFS & Infants), Deputy Head Pastoral, Deputy Head Academic and the Head Master of The Elms, and contribute towards the full life of this busy school.
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and includes a generous staff fee discount for children attending the school, private medical insurance and use of the school’s excellent dining and sports facilities.
