Since becoming an academy in September 2009, Kettering Buccleuch Academy has seen many exciting changes. We are an all-through academy catering for students aged 4-18. We moved into our new, purpose-built building in January 2013. Under recent new leadership, the academy continues to go from strength to strength, with happy and motivated staff, a supportive culture and plenty of opportunities for personal growth with our excellent staff CPD offer. The role

This role is responsible for the quality of provisions, teaching, learning and progress within KS3 English. Keeping your subject exciting, relevant and enjoyable, you'll create an ambitious, innovative and motivating classroom. You will be responsible for student outcomes at Key Stage 3 in English. You'll inspire and challenge your students so that they develop into highly effective, independent learners and achieve their individual potential.

About You

You’ll have Qualified Teacher Status and a proven track record of success within a secondary school setting. You’re an inspirational practitioner, knowledgeable regarding the curriculum and an exemplary practitioner. Proactive, flexible and enthusiastic, you bring the innovation and commitment to promote effecting teaching and learning, provide support for colleagues and raise student outcomes.
