Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Head of Department for English. This vacancy is required for September or sooner.
As the Assistant Head of English, you work closely with the Senior Leader for English and the Senior Management Team in continuing to improve exam attainment at GCSE and A’ level.

· A passion for English teaching
· Experience of supporting change and development within a department
· Reliable evidence of very good to outstanding teaching with a focus on raising student achievement at KS3, KS4 and KS5
· A passion for making a difference for young people in the city of Liverpool
