Amity International school, Abu Dhabi is seeking to appoint an Assistant Head of Lower Primary (Nursery to Year 2) to lead Early Years pedagogy and practice across the lower primary. 

  • Lead and manage teaching and learning in the Lower Primary 
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Early Years pedagogy with a commitment to developing the effective use of Continuous Provision, within the indoor and outdoor learning environments.

The role requires the ability to:  

  • Lead and manage teaching and learning in the Foundation Stage (Nursery/FS1 and Reception/FS2)  
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Early Years pedagogy with a commitment to developing the effective use of Continuous Provision to ensure outstanding learning environments both indoors and outdoors.    
  • Be able to inspire and motivate a large team, sharing your passion for best practice  
  • Be a strong, effective and credible leader   
  • Build highly successful partnerships with parents and our international learning community
