An experienced practitioner is required to assist the Deputy Head (Sixth Form) in leading the Sixth Form Pastoral and Academic Team in ensuring the well-being, and personal and academic development of each individual within the Sixth Form. They will work closely with the Deputy Head (Sixth Form) to deliver a robust and comprehensive Sixth Form experience that inspires academic curiosity; ambition and aspiration; a culture that celebrates success; that embraces diversity and individuality; and that helps to fulfil the mission statement of the Sixth Form: that every student will leave Rossall as a ‘better human being because of their experiences in the Sixth Form’. 

 

The role has specific responsibilities but there is a real opportunity to shape the role over the next few years as we align it with the central ethos of the Sixth Form. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to bring new ideas and initiatives to the role.
