Job overview

The position of Assistant Head (Pastoral) is an exciting new role in the Senior Department of a rapidly growing and successful all through school.  

The successful candidate will initially have a teaching load of 0.5 FTE. 

Candidates should be able to offer one (or more) of the following curriculum areas: English; Mathematics; Science; Spanish/French; Design Technology; Philosophy, Religion and Ethics or PSHE. 

This role will grow with the school and therefore presents a unique opportunity for an experienced teacher seeking a leadership opportunity in a supportive, friendly environment with excellent CPD provision under a dedicated Director of Studies.

Cobham Free School is a publicly-funded, co-educational free school which opened its Junior phase in September 2012 and changed to all-through status (4-18 years) in September 2014, opening a sixth form in September 2019.  The school admits pupils from Reception to Year 13.

The school has recently entered the next exciting stage in its growth, having moved to our superbly equipped new premises in the heart of Cobham.
