Assistant Head Teacher

The Post

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher, who has the enthusiasm, dedication and a proven track record of delivering high quality education and care for pupils. We need an outstanding practitioner who is looking for a proactive leadership role within our successful community school. You will work alongside our Headteacher and highly successful leadership team, to drive further improvement throughout the school on our journey to become outstanding. 

You will need to be someone who will: 

• promote our aims and vision 

• have consistently high expectations 

• be an outstanding, inclusive teacher who keeps our children at the heart of all that is done in school 

• assist in raising the quality of teaching and learning across the school be able to plan strategically 

• be committed to working together in partnership with all those involved in the life of the school 

• be committed to keeping all children safe in school.

Our School

We are a high achieving 11 -18 school with very good examination results.  We have received an Educational Outcomes award for being in the top 12 percent of schools in the country for progress. The School is a Teaching School and excellent professional development opportunities are available for colleagues in a forward thinking and creative organisation.
