Key Responsibilities: 

• Continually raise student aspiration, attainment and progress through improvement in the quality of teaching and learning cross the key stages 

• Provide leadership, inspiration and management and model outstanding teaching practice 

• The role is central to the implementation and promotion of Self-Directed Learning (SDL) and the delivery of excellent teaching and learning 

• To play a key role in the strategic leadership of our school in the relentless pursuit of our ambition to become an outstanding school in all areas 

• Oversee, monitor and review the school’s assessments, recording and reporting procedures 

• Leadership of all OneSchool Global assessment initiatives and programmes e.g MAP 

• Provide a day-to-day classroom leadership, inspiration and management and maintain excellent teaching practice 

• Establish links with and integrate OneSchool curriculum 

• Engage with Teacher Academy in support of the school leadership and staff development
