Assistant Head Teacher

Empower Learning Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a dynamic senior leader for as soon as possible to its central school improvement team. This is an exciting position for someone with a proven track record in improving the quality of education in a department or whole school with a remit to drive up standards in specific areas across one or more academies within our Trust. The approach will be a blended one according to need, that may involve secondments, providing coaching "on the ground" and providing CPD. You will usually be expected to teach a reduced timetable in at least one of our academies. You will be part of the three person Academy Effectiveness Team and report directly to the CEO, as well as take up a position as  a member of the Trust's Education Strategy Group, which meets monthly.
