We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher to join a strong leadership team at The Farnborough Academy . We are looking for a talented senior leader to provide energy, commitment and a real desire to bring about life enhancing change to our fantastic pupils and wider community. We are particularly keen to hear from colleagues with a background in and a passion for the areas of behaviour management, attendance or inclusion. You will have the desire, capacity and tenacity to ensure the academy’s improving trajectory enables an Ofsted Good rating at our next inspection.
As a senior leader in the academy you will have a key role in steering the academy through a programme of school improvement, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and across the other academies in the Spencer Academies Trust. You will benefit from direct access to high quality CPD, regular networking opportunities
To succeed in this role, you will have proven skills to inspire and motivate both pupils and colleagues across the academy. You will be creative as well as inspirational, committed to your own professional development and that of your colleagues in the academy and across the Trust. You will be able to lead by example to make an immediate impact on the progress of pupils.

Farnborough Spencer Academy launched on 1st September 2014 and officially converted to being part of the Spencer Academies Trust from 1st October 2018.The academy provides the young people of Clifton and the surrounding areas with wide ranging opportunities. Firmly rooted in the local community ,our aim is to provide high quality education for up to 1000 young people giving everyone the chance to shine brightly.
The academy is on a path of rapid improvement and we are proud of how rapidly the quality of teaching and the behaviour of pupils has developed in the past two years leading to the best ever GCSE results in August 2018.
