We have a fantastic opportunity at our OneSchool Global UK Biggleswade Campus for a forward thinking, highly motivated and truly inspirational practitioner to be an Assistant Head Teacher- Strategic Data Lead and Post 16 Progress Lead. The role would suit someone looking to take their first step into senior leadership or an experienced leader, and you would be working with a supportive and aspirational team.

The successful candidate will:

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a thorough understanding of and experience in pedagogical coaching including lesson observations and feedback

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (or regional equivalent)

• Excellent and detailed understanding of current safeguarding procedures

• Evidence of experience in raising achievement for the good of students

• Understanding of SEND and experience in promoting the inclusion of all students

• Have experience of working with learners of all abilities and enabling progression

• Adaptability to consistently move forward with curriculum and organisational changes

• Ability to work as a leader within the wider OneSchool Global framework

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills demonstrating optimistic personal behaviour towards stakeholders

• Lead by example in terms of work ethic, integrity, reliance, clarity and professional behaviour

• Be a positive role model of professional practice and conduct

• Highly organised, able to plan time effectively, meet deadlines and delegate appropriately

• A positive role model of professional practice and conduct of others

• Respect and promote the schools Ethos and Values

Key responsibilities:

• Continually raise student attainment and progress through strategic use of data across the key stages

• To interpret and communicate patterns, trends and themes in data which help to enable strategic intervention

• As the lead professional for post 16 provision, take responsibility for progress, well-being and pastoral matters across years 12-13

• Report to and meet regularly with the leadership team and local governing body (the CA Team) and Regional/ District Principal

• Lead, manage and inspire the individual teaching and support staff

• To ensure leadership and management activities promote and develop learning wellbeing

• Consistently liaise and support the performance of the VC teaching team to enhance the delivery of an inspiring quality curriculum leading to better outcomes for all post 16 students

• Maintain orderly systems for student management and daily organisation of post 16 year groups

• Uphold and promulgate the OneSchool Global Ethos and high moral values in all areas of the school

• To support the consistent delivery of the independent school standards

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct

• Undertake other reasonable duties as specified by the Campus Principal, OneSchool Global UK or by the Board of Trustees
