An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident, professional and strategic thinking Assistant Head (Teaching & Practitioner Development) to join the Senior Leadership Team at Woldgate School. This new role will have a responsibility for Teaching & Practitioner Development across the whole Trust, providing an exciting and challenging opportunity for a current Assistant Head, or a motivated teacher, who has proven middle management experience.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Head who has:
- a thorough understanding of what excellent teaching entails, and by role modelling your own practice, can support colleagues in improving theirs
- the ability to develop and implement plans, that will improve the quality of teaching and learning across the school and Trust, creating a culture of outstanding teaching
- a secure, proven track record of delivering excellent levels of achievement, and implementation of whole school initiatives
- the drive, commitment and personal resilience to make a tangible difference as an Assistant Head in a large and ambitious school
- the integrity, presence and emotional intelligence necessary to inspire confidence from staff, pupils and parents and reflect the ethos and aims of our school
