Assistant Head – Full-time (Assessment)

Hotham School are seeking an inspirational Assistant Headteacher who has experience of leading high quality teaching and learning within a school setting.

We are looking for a committed, dynamic and creative leader who shares our passion for learning to be our assessment lead. You will join our leadership team and play a key role in raising standards further in Key Stage 2.

You must be able to

• demonstrate a track record of excellence in teaching and pupil outcomes
• motivate, lead and inspire by example
• coach and mentor staff
• promote and secure high quality teaching and learning
• have high expectations of pupil achievement and be-haviour
• lead key areas of school improvement
• have an excellent knowledge of how to use data to enhance pupil outcomes
• foster and maintain excellent relationships with Staff, Governors, Parents and the wider community
• have good curriculum knowledge and understanding
• have some knowledge of Content and language integrated learning but not essential

The successful candidate does not have to speak French but should have a willingness to embrace our Bilingual curriculum.
