Assistant Headteacher - Assessment and Outcomes

The Ravensbourne School is seeking to appoint a highly qualified, inspirational and experienced leader to the post of Assistant Headteacher to lead on Assessment and Outcomes.

This is an opportunity for an exceptionally talented colleague to join our School at an exciting stage of its journey.  The Ravensbourne School is a school sat in the heart of Bromley.  There are 1500 students, with 440 students in Post 16.  Some of the buildings are Grade II listed, dating back to 1911 whilst other additions are more recent.  The buildings, coupled with the extensive 22 acre grounds, make up elegant and inspiring surroundings.

This is a key strategic post for our School and as such the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of strategies that promote high expectations across a school with regards to Assessment and Outcomes .  They will also have a keen grasp of current research and practice. The Assistant Headteacher for Assessment and Outcomes will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher, Quality of Education to ensure rapid school improvement through robust and rigorous assessment processes as well as effective interventions for key school groups such as pupil premium.
