Assistant Headteacher - Student Progress & Development (Boys’ School)
Pastoral & Safeguarding and shared responsibility for Student Progress &
Development (Boys’ & Girls’ Schools)
We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational individual to lead Student Development, Behaviour and Welfare at Hasmonean Boys’ School. If you are an exceptional leader with an outstanding track record, we would like to hear from you. We seek an individual that is highly organised and knowledgeable in using data to support students; you will also need the ability to communicate effectively with clarity and sensitivity to the school community. We are looking for someone who enjoys leading and being part of a team, who is flexible and creative in their approach and who can lead on whole school strategy. It is essential that you are an exceptional classroom teacher as well as having a passion for the personal development and welfare of every student.
The School was judged to be Outstanding in every category in Ofsted (November 2012) and in a recent Pikuach inspection.
First class academic results, a broad extra-curricular programme and an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report. At Hasmonean High School this comes as standard. However, if this was all we offered, we would feel that we had failed as a school. We believe in giving our students the tools they need to build their future.
“The school is one of the best schools in the country at outperforming expectations for their pupils and improving their future prospects. There is plenty that other schools could learn from Hasmonean High School’s success.” (Sue Williamson, Chief Executive of SSAT)
