The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Headteacher to join this Catholic 11 – 18 comprehensive school judged “good” by Ofsted in May 2017 and by the Archdiocese of Southwark in 2014.
It is an exciting time to join St John Bosco College as we continue our journey towards being an outstanding Roman Catholic, Salesian school, now that we are fully settled into our new building in the heart of Battersea.
Our success can be credited to our committed and dedicated staff who strive for excellence and promote high aspirations throughout the school. We are seeking an exceptional individual to take a leading role in the ongoing development of St John Bosco College. We require someone who will be able to inspire pupils, staff, parents and other stakeholders to work together to ensure the school’s continued success.
The post-holder will have responsibility for one or more key areas of school life at the direction of the Headteacher. The successful candidate will:
• Be fully supportive of the school’s ethos and have a clear understanding of the distinctive nature of a Catholic school.
• Be able to lead continuous improvement across all areas of school life to ensure that children at St John Bosco College are happy, safe and achieve to the best of their ability.
