Salary scale: L12 – L16

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and committed Assistant Headteacher who will lead on securing truly exceptional behaviour and standards across Guiseley School. We are passionate about ensuring the highest standards of pastoral care and recognise that excellent behaviour is a bedrock upon which the culture of the school is built. We are expanding our leadership team and are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all of our students.  

The Assistant Headteacher will lead on behaviour and discipline across school and will work alongside the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and to ensure a culture of high support and high challenge permeates the Guiseley School’s pastoral care systems. Alongside behaviour and discipline, the successful candidate will be accountable for the oversight of alternative provision, admissions, and the development of pupil and parental engagement strategies. The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2022.
