Chessington School are seeking to recruit an assistant headteacher of behaviour, safety and wellbeing, who would embrace this role and this exciting and challenging opportunity

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take up a crucial role maintaining our inclusive and happy school community. We need an unusual person who is committed to our pupils and families, in order for them all to achieve their highest potential.

Under the direction of an appropriate member of the Senior Leadership Team, the post holder will have overall responsibility for leading and managing the school’s pastoral system and provision, in order to raise achievement and ensure students experience the opportunities the school life brings everyday.

Purpose of the post:

To be a member of the Senior Leadership team and contributing to the vision and strategic direction of the school,  with a specific role to lead and manage student behaviour, safety and welfare: ensuring well-being and positive behaviour of all students enables them to be successful in every aspect of their school life.

To be the Deputy Safeguarding Officer

The successful candidate will:
