Prendergast Vale School is seeking a dynamic Assistant Headteacher to lead our Curriculum Assessments provision from September 2025. In this key leadership role, you will:
● Lead and manage the assessment system to ensure that pupil performance is assessed effectively and efficiently in all areas of the school curriculum
● Drive improvements in Key Stage 3, enhancing the quality of education and student engagement.
● Manage and support the work of Curriculum Leaders to ensure that the relevant curricular teams are well managed and that lessons are challenging and exciting.
● Lead the analysis of school performance data and how it is used to plan and deliver effective interventions that raise overall standards of educational outcomes.
● Lead on the organisation and day to day running, with support from the Data and Exams Manager, of formal GCSE examinations and any mock examinations
● Lead the process for the curation of, and maintenance of the whole school timetable
● To lead and strategically deliver improving rates of progress and attainment at KS4 through working collaboratively with the Headship Team, Curriculum Team and Pastoral Team.
