Our Sixth Form 

We are a growing Sixth Form and were judged as ‘good’ in our last Ofsted inspection. Our vision for 2025 is to create an exceptional Sixth Form that challenges our students to succeed: our ambition is to become the best Sixth Form in Leeds. We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational leader with a passion for education and a real desire to secure this vision.

The Director of Key Stage 5 will strategically lead on and foster an aspirational culture and ethos across the key stage to embed fully all four cornerstones of the KLAS curriculum - knowledge, literacy, aspirational enrichment and social mobility. 

The successful post holder will:  

• Be a highly motivated, positive colleague who can contribute to ensuring excellent standards in all areas of school life   
• Be an inspirational leader with a proven track record of success  
• Have experience of leading at Sixth Form level (for example but not limited to: a current Assistant Head, as Head or Deputy Head of Sixth Form, a Curriculum Leader with responsibility for Sixth Form subjects)  
• Embrace the current changes to the curriculum and drive up progress and outcomes.  
• Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students, staff and the wider community.   
• Have a professional drive, energy, determination and aspiration.   
• Collaborate and work with key leaders across school to support further school improvement.
