Applications are invited for January 2018 for the post of:

Assistant Headteacher – Director of Sixth Form

(Leadership Scale L14 – L18)

The school wishes to appoint an outstanding leader who can build on the work done in recent years in developing the sixth form and to take it forward to the next level.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, vision, resilience and excellent interpersonal skills to join the senior leadership team of our good and rapidly improving school.

The successful candidate will:

• be an inspirational leader with the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of young people;

• be a great teacher who knows how to constructively challenge and support colleagues to achieve excellence

• have a record of securing excellent student progress, particularly post 16.

William Ellis School is a voluntary-aided, non-denominational comprehensive school in the London Borough of Camden, serving the secondary educational needs of boys in the diverse local community and of girls in the Sixth Form.
