We are looking to appoint an inspiring and highly effective leader to join our primary phase leadership team as an Assistant Headteacher.

You would be joining our experienced wider primary leadership team that work closely and collaboratively across our primary campuses.

As Assistant Headteacher of the primary phase at our Peninsula Campus you will support the Deputy Headteacher and the Headteacher of St Mary Magdalene Primary Phase in ensuring the academic and pastoral provision is the best it can be.

You will also be given a specific school improvement responsibility for the Federation primary phase which will be determined after appointment; we would expect the candidate to have proven skills and relevant experiences across all areas of school leadership.

The ideal candidate will be:

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to attend the first selection day on Friday 9th June with successful candidates from the first selection day invited for a second day on Monday 12th June.

As this role will involve contact with children, we will take up at least two references before interview asking about your suitability to work with children. Any job offer will be conditional on you having a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Criminal Records Check and Barred List Check, having the legal right to work in the UK and having satisfactory overseas criminal records checks if deemed necessary.
