Job overview

Are you an experienced, committed and excellent classroom practitioner? Are you looking to take on a senior post within the school’s senior leadership team?

We are looking for an ambitious leader who has high expectations of themselves, outstanding teaching and leadership skills and the ability to raise standards of achievement for all, making a significant difference to the lives of the children, working with a supportive team.

Le Rondin is a Primary Special School for pupils aged 3-11 years who have a wide range of special educational needs organised in three Departments: Early Years (from Nursery to Year 2); Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4); and Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6).

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a valued team, where you will be expected to teach across the full age range of the school and have experience of, and commitment to, the teaching and learning strategies necessary for successful differentiated, mixed ability teaching. The school aims to provide a bespoke curriculum tuned to the needs of individual pupils so we are looking for someone who uses their initiative, patience, tact, discretion and utmost integrity and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
